The internet is upping its cat tree game. Pet parents are hungry both for a new way to entertain their cats, and for something special to enhance their individual living spaces a little better than the standard carpeted towers.
So today we’re looking at amazing cat trees and of course, where to find them!
Whether you’re looking for something modern and sleek, or something straight out of an enchanted fairy tale forest, the perfect cat tree is out there for you.
With all the incredible images we see in our browser searches, it can be easy to fall down the rabbit hole and become confused about where to actually find these marvelous creations. (I certainly did while researching this article!)
To make it easier, we’ve rounded up the best of the best and will take a look at all of the options individually. Some are available from familiar places such as Amazon, but in order to find the most complete selection it’s necessary to branch out (no pun intended) and see what else is out there.

Another great place to find amazing cat trees is Etsy, the global online marketplace for artisans to make their work available to all. Below we’ve selected and featured some of the best examples of what Etsy has to offer by way of one of a kind cat structures.
The nice part about Etsy is that each seller is highly motivated to give you the best customer service experience possible. So if you have any questions at all, or would like additional photos of a particular product, don’t hesitate to contact the shop owner via the easy-to-use Etsy messaging system.

Out of Evanston, Illinois comes the Kitty Cat Trees shop, which specializes in extremely organic, natural branch cat structures that are about as far away from box store brands as you can get. With the charming opening line, “Long before there were cat trees, there were just cats climbing trees,” this artisan brings the beauty of nature straight into your home.
Though these gorgeous trees have a delicate look to them, the seller explains that each construction is strong and durable, with the critical areas to supporting weight reinforced and cleverly hidden from view.

This charming forest design by Anbull is another cat tree that screams photo op. At 40.5H × 24.8L × 20.4″W, it’s a little on the smaller side compared to some of the others we have looked at. This would be a perfect tree for smaller cats or for someone who routinely fosters kittens.
Modern cat trees from Tuft and Paw
Tuft and Paw is a newer company that focuses on high quality, modern cat furniture and products that exceed the typical market standards. The owner explains on their website that he started Tuft and Paw because he “knew we could do better.” You won’t find the lowest prices at Tuft and Paw, but you will find products that are made with respect, love, and a focus on behavioral research.
Milo
Tuft and Paw’s largest design, Milo is the creme de la creme of cat towers. Our favorite part is the space bubble bowl that pretty much guarantees you the best cat pictures around. The extra large ramp and super extra tall scratching post is a great way for indoor cats to get plenty of exercise.

Unique cat trees from Wayfair…

Featuring four sisal rope wound posts and sisal fabric covering both the top and bottom compartments, the Gertrude is covered in textures that your cats will love.
Furey Sky Climber Cat Tree
This wall mounted cat tree is perfect when you don’t have a lot of space, but want a trendy and modern looking design for your home. It sits firmly against the wall and secures with hardware. This novel take on the cat tree measures 58 3/4″ x 38 1/4″ x 15″.
Hennings Handmade Inspired Cat Tree
Our last selection is a stunning piece of functional art – a hand carved stylized cat tree by Archie and Oscar. This whimsical piece comes in either the Early American finish (pictured) or Espresso, a size choice of 48″ tall or 60″ tall, and features six carpeted tiers that can easily support the weight of multiple cats. Although the photo shows the tree outdoors, the carpeted platforms would hold up best indoors.
